First Campaign
This was the project that launched my career.
Built on a simple truth — with over 37,000 locations, 7-Eleven is everywhere — we flipped that ubiquity into something a little... unsettling. We asked: What are the creepiest places people look every day? That insight became the foundation for the campaign: Scary Close.
We created a series of ads placing 7-Eleven right where you'd least expect it:
– Between the blinds
– In your rearview mirror
– Through a front door peephole
We even printed fake 7-Eleven decal stickers and placed them on car side-view mirrors — hijacking the line “Objects in mirror are closer than they appear.”
